3. Eligibility: Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States & Canada who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Sweepstakes is not open to employees, independent contractors, officers, directors, agents or representatives of Sponsor or of Sponsor’s parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, successors and/or assigns, or of Sponsor’s advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors.

4. To Enter: To enter, complete the following steps:

Step 1: Follow Julep’s board on Pinterest (www.pinterest.com/julepmaven).

Step 2: Create a new Pinterest board called “Create YOUR Julep Color” and categorize it under Hair & Beauty.

Step 3: Pin 5 or more images that incorporate a color theme that inspires you (shoes, nature, jewelry, etc.). Tag each of the pins with “#JulepColorChallenge and #CreateYourJulepColor” in the description.

Step 4: Pin the Julep Color Challenge hero image to your board.

Step 5: Submit the entry form and share your board with your friends.

Entrants must have a Pinterest account (no purchase or payment is necessary to join Pinterest). To join Pinterest, you can request an invite from on Pinterest’s website (www.pinterest.com) or you can email a request to pinvite@julep.com. Please allow up to two (3) business days for a response to any requests directed to the pinvite@julep.com email address. Please note that a Pinterest membership is not controlled by and cannot be guaranteed by Julep.

5. Contest Period: The Contest begins on Monday September 10th at 11:00 am PST, voting will continue until September 23rd at 11:59pm PST. The top 5 followed boards will them be voted against on Julep’s Facebook and the winning color will be announced on September 28th at 11:00 am PST. All entries must be received by the end of the Contest Period. Sponsor is not responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries, including without limitation inability to access Julep.com or the entrant’s Pinterest board, or entries not timely received due to telephone failures, Internet or website failures and disruptions, and ISP problems. Incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry.

6. Selection of Winners: Top (5) boards will be selected from all eligible entries and will be posted on Julep’s Facebook page for voting. The selection of top (5) boards will be based on the top 5 follower boards. The winner will be determined by the greatest number of “likes” on the Sponsor’s Facebook page. The winner will be notified by phone or e-mail. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding on all entrants.

7. Prizes: Winning color will be put into production and the winner will have the option to name the color.

8. By participating, each entrant agrees to comply with these official rules and represents and warrants to Sponsor that all images on entrant’s Create YOUR Julep Color Contest board are owned by entrant or entrant otherwise has the right to pin such images. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries in the Contest. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of, the Julep or Pinterest web sites or any technical failure or malfunction, or any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or property.

IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR OR ANY CONTEST ENTITIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST. ANY PRIZES WON, ENTRANT’S ACCESS TO OR USE OF SPONSOR’S WEB SITES OR THE PINTEREST WEBSITE, OR THE ACCESSING, DOWNLOADING AND/OR PRINTING OF ANY MATERIAL AVAILABLE ON SAID SITES. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON SPONSOR’S WEB SITES IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. 9. By accepting a prize in this Contest, the winner grants to Sponsor, where permitted by law, the right to use and publish (worldwide and via the Internet) his/her name, city and state of residence, portrait, image, picture, voice, likeness and comments for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without notification, review or approval, and without additional consideration. To receive a prize, the winner agrees to complete, sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. A winner’s prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner at Sponsor’s sole discretion upon the occurrence of any of the following: (i) the failure of winner to confirm acceptance of the prize and return any required documents within seven (7) days of prize notification by Sponsor; (ii) the return of a prize or prize notification to Sponsor as non-deliverable; or (iii) the determination by Sponsor that winner is ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these official rules.

BY ACCEPTING A PRIZE, THE WINNER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, AND ALL CONTEST ENTITIES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, AND PROPERTY, ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST OR ANY CONTEST-RELATED ACTIVITY.

10. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned because of circumstances including, but not limited to, website outages or interruptions on Julep’s or Pinterest’s website, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, which, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion and determination of fairness, to cancel, terminate, shorten, extend, modify or suspend the Contest and to select the winners from eligible entries received. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or operation of the Contest or who violates these official rules.

11. By registering to enter the Contest, each entrant acknowledges he/she has read, understands and will abide by these official rules. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these official rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and/or Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to the conflict of laws principles.
