Nail of the Day: Rubber Band Stripe

Want an easy way to add a stripe to your nails? Try a rubber band!

 

Step 1. Prep nails and apply base coat. Apply base color if desired. (see middle finger)

 

Step 2. When base coat is completely dry gently twist rubberband around fingertip until band is secure in place.

 

Step 3. Polish top portion of nail your desired color.

 

Step 4. Polish bottom portion of nail desired color.

 

Step 5. Allow polish to dry slightly if not completely before removing rubberband.

 

Step 6. Apply top coat and show off your pretty fingers.

    I love the end result of your rubberband nail art, but I do have one question. This DIY calls for a rubber band– I gather it must be the really small ones, right?
