French Tip with a Chic and Modern Twist

Julep has fallen in love with this sophisticated, trendy, and polished new take on the traditional French Tip manicure that we have all adored for decades. Though the original white tip is timeless and will certainly never go out of style, this unique spin is perfect for the colder winter months of the year- especially for the holiday season!

Try using one of your favorite matte neutral polishes as a base and highlight its simplicity with a stroke of a shiny black or slightly shimmery deep plum polish at the tip of your nail. The contrast between a matte polish and the stroke of color with a hint of shimmer is simply gorgeous and effortlessly elegant! Here is a great example as seen on Chloe’s Nails

For a special occasion or cocktail party, take the twist on this French manicure even further by pairing your neutral base with a glitzy gold polish as seen on Lyndar the Merciless blog – and don’t be afraid to paint out of the lines! Sweeping the gold shimmer up towards the side of your nails towards your cuticle will make for an even more glamorous effect that’s sure to add some joy and spice to any evening.
